The Missing Link In Fitness Programs:

In a nutshell, what is missing in the health & fitness industry is all to do with our thoughts. No diet, training program or “pill” will be able to resolve this issue. What happens if the plan your client has tried before, is exactly the right plan… but they just couldn’t give it the time to stick to it?

NOW… right now; we at CBT Meets Fitness have the answer to this PROBLEM! We are here to help bring the missing jigsaw piece to the vastly complicated health & fitness puzzle.

We have adopted the well known principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which will help your clients learn to change their thoughts, feelings and behaviours so they stick to the awesome plan you created. By targeting their reactions to situations, the method that we teach you (CBT-Fitness) can help your clients react more effectively in difficult situations, and even help them to learn how to feel better when they are unable to control or change situations happening around them.

For example, your client might not be able to change what their family eats for dinner… but with your help, they can learn to control the feelings they have when they are at the dinner table. You can teach them how to productively answer unhelpful thoughts, such as: “this is so unfair that I can’t eat the food they do. / They are so disrespectful to not support me and eat the healthy foods I have to.”

CBT-Fitness is Founded on the Following:

GOAL-DRIVEN
CBT-Fitness is a problem-solving type of skill aimed at helping your clients achieve their health and fitness goals. Their goals can be anything from wanting to loose weight, stick to a healthy eating plan, improve sleep habits, finding ways to connect to their support system in a more productive way, or even help to reduce feelings of anxiety or depression related to their health and fitness. Once they meet their goal, the skills you teach with CBT will help them maintain what they have set out to achieve for years to come. It will also help them implement new goals as they progress in their health and fitness journey.

FOCUSED ON THE PRESENT
CBT-Fitness focuses on PRESENT challenges and difficult situations that are causing your clients distress. The here-and-now focus allows your clients to solve current problems more efficiently and effectively. Identifying specific challenges and focusing on them in a consistent and structured manner results in achieving greater results in a shorter time, than in any other health and fitness therapy.

ACTIVE
CBT- Fitness requires your client to be active and active participant in solving problems. Rather than waiting for problems to get better after talking about them with either friends, family members; you are enabling them to take an active role in their OWN treatment, using the skills/assignments laid out in our easy to use worksheets that you can learn from our online courses, certifications and seminars. By allowing your client to be active in their transformation journey, they will identify different ways of thinking, and unlearning unwanted reactions.

TIME CONSIOUS
CBT- Fitness is time conscious; meaning our aim is to get your client to feel significant relief from the pain and discomfort in a short amount of time; so that their motivation and drive stay up to continue with their health and fitness plans you set out. Many people who have done CBT as therapy, or taken our courses/seminars have seen improvements in just a few weeks! However, I will mention that not everyone makes significant progress in a short time; some people may need additional therapy (with a qualified CBT Therapist) to reduce symptoms and to create lasting change. (If you feel your client needs extra help, encourage them to find a licensed therapist in their area).

SUPPORTIVE
Making health and fitness changes can be difficult. CBT-Fitness takes this VERY seriously, and we are dedicated to help you along the process, at your own pace, offering a wide variety of CBT tools for you and your clients to experiment with.
